Nathaniel Musters

In big news, Port City Power Men have re-signed 6’10 Center Nathaniel Musters for season 2018.

Musters returns to the Power after his debut season with the club in 2017, recording averages of 8 points and 7 rebounds per game. He shot the ball at an incredibly efficient 52% from the field. Musters had a season high of 25 points and 16 rebounds against the Ipswich Force. Musters is a graduate of Lafayette University, has spent time playing professionally in Ireland and is currently playing for Leeuwarden in Holland.

Enthusiastic about his commitment, Musters said “I am really looking forward to returning to Gladstone. The fans and community were amazing and played a big role in my interest in returning. With the signings that we have already made for season 2018, along with the appointment of our new coach, it will definitely lead to an exciting season. I’m looking forward to making an impact for the club on the floor”

Coach Walmsley was pleased with securing the services of Musters, stating “Re-signing Nate has been a priority for me since season 2017 concluded. I thought he demonstrated some really productive signs last season and I believe his production will continue to increase as we make him more of focus in 2018. More than anything, I have been impressed by Nathaniel’s level of maturity and intellect. Every team wants intelligent people that make good decisions, on and off the court. I know we have added another one of those by re-signing Nate. With both Nate Musters and Shane Walker committing for season 2018, we are going to roll out a fairly formidable front line”
