We can officially announce the second Gladstone Port City Power women’s signing for 2018, Milomilo Nanai.
Milo returns to the Power after representing the club in 2016. Milo has most recently played in New Zealand for the Auckland Lady Rangers, where she averaged 9.5ppg, 5rpg on 43% field goal shooting. Milo is a physical guard who offers great versatility on both ends of the floor.
Having experienced the standard of the QBL in 2016, Milo returns eager …to play an important role for the Power. On her signing, she said “My last stint with the program was only for a brief moment in 2016. To be honest, I came not knowing what to expect of the league and was probably a little unprepared. This year I will be signing for a full seasons and I’m looking forward to representing the McDonalds Port City Power to the best of my abilities. Its going to be an exciting season”
Coach Cooper was enthused with the return of Milo, stating “I am very excited to have Milo returning to the club again. Her impact was positive in her short stint during the 2016 season. I expect her to be a complimentary piece to our team and someone who offers great versatility on offence and defence. She has experience at this level and has a better gauge on what is required this time round”
Welcome back, Milo. Power Up!
